On the 10-th of April 2020 the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan organized a guest exhibition named «Unusual natural exhibits» at the secondary school №19 of Ashgabat city

On the 10-th of April 2020 the division of Nature and Local Lore  organized a guest exhibition named «Unusual  natural exhibits»  at the secondary school №19 of Ashgabat city. This exhibition is made based on the exhibits, which are stored at the fund of the division of Nature and Local Lore. Here were exposed different minerals, rock formations  аnd fossil found in the territory of Turkmenistan. Schoolchildren were especially interested in a palaeontologic collection of a museum. Among them are the petrified tree trunk, its age   270 million years, two-gilled cephalopods, which have laid in mountain layers 150 million years, sea hedgehogs and bivalved mollusks of Neogene.

Exhibition was decorated by photos of plants, stuffed birds and animals, which occur in our country. Research fellows of the museum have told a lot of interesting to children and have invited them to visit the museum.
