Our people are the people with the glorious five-thousand-year past and it has made the worthy contribution into the world culture and art at those historical times. Today the national cultural heritage created by our ancestors is deeply and thoroughly researched. Treasures of this unexplored treasure were researched one by one and passed from generation to generation. They are improved in the original form without distortion.
Under a wise guidance of our honourable President, for the purpose of in-depth study of a cultural heritage, making the worthy contribution into the fair policy of respect of the glorious past of our ancestors and on the occasion of Day of workers in the arts and poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy, in a week of culture carried out in Mary region participate cultural workers and creative personalities.
The opening ceremony of a week of culture has taken place in Rukhyyet palace of Mary of Mary region. Enthusiasm of ceremony was added with exhibitions of works of fine and applied arts of regional museums, museum values, Turkmen national musical instruments, books and publishing production, located in foyer of Rukhyyet palace.
Demonstration of values of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan, organized in foyer of Rukhyyet palace should be noted. Within the network of a week of culture in museum of History and Local Lore of Mary region has been carried out the operational meeting of museum specialists on a theme «Main directions of development of museum business at the era of Revival of a new epoch of the powerful state» and there also have taken place methodical study on learning experience of perfection of activity of House-museums. Participants of conference have also looked a videoclip about museums of our country.
Meetings on creative activity within the network of a week of culture will not only involve various aspects of Turkmen culture, but will also give the chance to define the important directions of the future work, to underline its big potential.
