Embroidery is one of the most widespread and ancient forms of art in the world. Skilled women find new samples for embroidery, combine paints and skillfully transfer patterns on a cloth. Artistic value of an embroidery is defined by its beauty and finesse, a reasonable and accurate combination of paints. When you examine various kinds of embroidery, you think about their origin creation, you understand, what talent and skill had our ancestors, as in an embroidery entered love of woman’s heart, beauty, tenderness, grace, dream, fidelity and honour. Therefore the embroidery became bewitching beauty.
At then epoch of glorification of our national heritage is shown the increasing interest to art of embroidery. Connection of embroidery with other kinds of craft of Turkmens is strengthened more and more. Now skilled women give it a new shade and stimulate this craft to further enrichment. If we take any sample of work of our ancestors, it has also an educational value.
For the purpose of further popularization of importance of a national heritage at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan is organized an exhibition named «Refinement, which has entered embroidery» and is carried out the meeting with women embroideresses. The basis of the exhibition is formed by the capes of red and green colours and decorated with patterns «gochak», «para», «tegbent», «gulyaydy», other capes with patterns «barmak», «sinnirme», «channa», capes of green colour, which are the most perfect and beautiful from the point of view of art, differing in the use, reminding spring, yellow capes for women of middle age and white capes - for elderly. Oriental robes with patterns «erikgul», «almagul», «tegbent», made by rolling, dark blue and green cloth oriental robes give to an exhibition national colour. Children's garments are decorated by patterns «daragt», «toynuk», «okgozi». The sufficient place of the exhibition is occupied by the use articles of everyday use.
In the meeting carried out within the network of the exhibition participated deputy director of centralized network of libraries of Ashgabat city cultural management Ayjemal Bayramowa, leading research fellow of Magtymguly Institute of Language, literature and national manuscripts of Аcademy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of philological science Tazegul Hapyzova, a teacher of secondary school № 51 of Ashgabat city Ogulbagt Ovlakova, head of division of Gokdepe national museum Tawus Amanmyradowa, junior research fellow of the Institute of History of Аcademy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Enejan Nazarova, leading librarian of service division of the State library of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan Dursun Myradova, subeditor of «Nesil» newspaper Leyli Gurbanova.
