On the 16-th of October 2019 at the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was organized an exhibition named «Musical instruments created by the master». It is devoted to the first artist of Turkmenistan, People’s artist of Turkmenistan, who has transferred a portrait on a Turkmen carpet, the Honoured teacher of Turkmenistan, the film actor, poet Byashim Nurali and musical instruments created by him.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov in his book «Bakhshis are heralds of national happiness» pointed: «Thanks to the technology of production of musical instruments perfected throughout centuries, Turkmen dutar passed a long way of improvement». At the prosperous epoch of the powerful state large-scale work on keeping and scientific studying of musical instruments created by Turkmen people in ancient times.
Having been a gifted artist he was fond music of and understood it and studied to play dutar and gidjak. Therefore, music became lifelong companion of Byashim Nurali. He has written many verses, poems and destans. Improving Turkmen national musical instruments, Byashim Nurali has developed new samples dutar and gidjak. On the basis of these musical instruments the has been founded the first test orchestra that played Turkmen national music by a musical notation.
One of the first modified musical instruments created by Byashim Nurali, was four-stringed gidjak with a wooden cover. At the conference carried out in 1933, the has been given an appreciation for skill in creation of gidjak at the European standard and was awarded a prize. In 1957-1960 the master has created in total five different sounding dutars, which had a special method of playing, for an orchestra of national tools named «Main canal». Now these dutars are kept in storehouse of the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan. Besides painting Byashim Nurali over the time of his life has created about forty versions of Turkmen national musical instruments dutar and gidjak.
At the State museum of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan was organized an exhibition named «Musical instruments created by the master».
The exhibition is opened with the wise words of the honourable President. In the course of exhibition are shown musical instruments made by Byashim Nurali «Second dutar», «Alto dutar», gidjak in the form of a pipe, «Children's dutar» and some others. Also here are shown exhibited The sufficient place of the exhibition is occupied by the books of the honourable President «Bakhshis are heralds of national happiness», «Music of peace, music of friendship, of brotherhood», «Living legend», «Turkmen culture», «Heavenly beauty», besides it here are located books «Byashim Nurali «, «My art - my pride». In the course of exhibition are demonstrated works of the artist-master. Also here is shown the decoration of Turkmen yurta, carpets and carpet products, national costumes.
